why photography?
For as long as I can remember, I've been fascinated by the relationship of color and light. Whether it's the way a sunset changes by the minute, sunshine dances through the trees, or fog rises off the mountain, all I've ever wanted to do was capture it—to hold onto a visual and the feeling it gives, for as long as I could. I've never known a season of my life where I didn't have a camera in hand, and I've always been the friend who stopped to say "Go on without me, I'll catch up in a bit," to see my vision through.

what fuels my creativity
When I'm not behind the camera, you’ll find me:
- cooking a simple, yet delicious meal with real ingredients (where are my GF/DF friends at!?)
- sifting through the thrift stores in hopes of my next treasure
- on a hike or fly-fishing with my husband, Clay
- in the yard, watering, weeding, and enjoying my flowers
- birding (a hobby I recently started thanks to the Cornell Bird App)
- on a long walk with my dog, Beau
- or on my couch with my bible, my journal & my favorite pen, spending time with the One who loves me far beyond what I could ever comprehend.
